MOCA Makers are unique art classes inspired by MOCA's current exhibitions and lead by real South Florida working and teaching artists. Held the second Saturday from 1pm-3pm, they are a chance to discover artists in your area, and have a hands-on artistic experience guided by them.
Subjects such as figure drawing, portrait painting, printmaking, and many more are available, all supplies are included in the cost of the class, as well as admission to MOCA, and a free optional guided tour.
Seats are limited, and will only be held for 15 minutes once class begins, so please arrive promptly!
MOCA Makers with Nicole Combeau-An Ode To Home
Join us for a hands-on MOCA Makers workshop led by artist Nicole Combeau. In this creative session, participants will explore the theme of “Home” through collage and accordion-style bookmaking. Using photographs, found imagery, text, and mixed materials, attendees will create a personal ode-to-wherever-or-whomever-feels like home.
