General Reception: Alexandra Fields O'Neale
Join us for a celebratory event in honor of Alexandra Fields O'Neale and her installation Bound//Unbound. Part of the second iteration of the Museum's Welcome to Paradise program, the artist brings an immersive installation that uses sound narratives to tell the story of the journey of enslavement through the transatlantic slave route and freedom through the saltwater railroad to the Bahamas.
The reception will be followed by a night of Jazz@MOCA on the museum's plaza, where Arsht on the Road will feature a performance by Nadirah Naima.
Due to limited capacity registration is required.
