Grab your blanket and snacks for a movie under the stars each month this Summer.

Inspired by the current exhibit, Light Play, MOCA’s Summer Film Series steps into the world of neon-noir films. Punctuated by an electronic score, neon soaked visuals and a complicated hero, these films explore urban isolation and moral ambiguity.

Tickets include admission to the museum until 8 pm close.

It's 1947 Hollywood, and Eddie Valiant, a down-on-his-luck detective, is hired to find proof that Marvin Acme, gag factory mogul and owner of Toontown, is playing hanky-panky with femme fatale Jessica Rabbit, wife of Maroon Cartoon superstar Roger Rabbit. Taxi Driver (1979)
Suffering from insomnia, disturbed loner Travis Bickle (Robert De Niro) takes a job as a New York City cabbie, haunting the streets nightly, growing increasingly detached from reality as he dreams of cleaning up the filthy city. When Travis meets pretty campaign worker Betsy (Cybill Shepherd), he becomes obsessed with the idea of saving the world, first plotting to assassinate a presidential candidate, then directing his attentions toward rescuing an exploited 12-year-old Iris (Jodie Foster).

Blade Runner (1982)
In the year 2019, the police department forces Rick Deckard (Ford) out of retirement to hunt four genetically engineered humans who have come to earth.
