MOCA miniMakers: Dragons in the Garden

Ready, set, create! miniMakers are your opportunity to dive into different art mediums once a month at MOCA. Workshops are for families with children ages 6-12, designed around artists, art history, and current MOCA Exhibitions.

Families will create layered forest cut-out dioramas inspired by exhibiting artist Hiba Schahbaz- filled with flowers, trees, and mushrooms. Using tea-stained paper, and watercolor cut-outs with salt textures, participants will bring their scenes to life- and add a touch of mythology by hiding their own dragons among the trees.

We ask that participants register all children as well as adults in their group, it helps our staff know how many seats to prepare, thank you!
