Join us for a special extended edition of MOCA Makers, inspired by the work of Vickie Pierre, now on view at MOCA in the exhibition Vickie Pierre: The Maiden is the Warrior.

Participants will tour the exhibition accompanied by the artist, then be led in a poetry workshop, guided by local poet Lysz Flo.

We will finish out the experience with a beading workshop led by artist and Museum Associate, Fola Akinde, that will allow guests to contribute their work to the interactive component in MOCA’s Reading Room.

Seats are limited, and will only be held for 15 minutes once class begins, so please arrive promptly!
