Community as Archive centers the stories of South Florida’s neighborhoods, displacement and belonging in a constantly shifting landscape. As neighborhoods change and histories are threatened with erasure, this workshop invites participants to consider how memory is held in our communities and the places we call home. In this workshop participants will have access to The Carol City Museum and the city of North Miami archives, photos, sculpture, and media archives to create a community photo album in celebration of MOCANomi’s 30 years of dedication to the arts.
