MOCA North Miami is celebrating its Teen Art Force students’ accomplishments with its first annual Teen Art Force fashion show, along with an art exhibition showcase and the release of MOCAzine. The event will also feature Haitian jazz in celebration of Haitian Heritage Month, as well as food and shop vendors.
MOCA GRAND NIGHT ON THE PLAZA is FREE and open to the public.
- 6 – 7 p.m.: First Annual Teen Art Force Fashion Show ,“Global Patterns + AHIMSA, Living in a Global World." Students will showcase their own designs, display their 2D and 3D art work, and their issue of MOCAzine documenting their work.
- 7 p.m.: ProjectArt x MOCA Pop-up Exhibitions “Remember the Sky: Memories, Landscape, Real and Imagined." A multimedia, visual representation of the power and fluid nature of memory presented by ProjectArt resident artists
- 8 p.m.: JAZZ at MOCA featuring Chardavoine. A celebration of Haitian Heritage Month with Haitian jazz by artist Chardavoine
